i've been bleeding out ammo before i got into pod 2, now i'm basically dead. barely any grenades, no ammo for anything, the laser pistol does jack shit, worm gun sucks, EMPs are pretty much useless. might have to cheat.
this game is good at creating a sense of incredible dread.
i am playing on easy.
i remain unconvinced that the difficulty settings actually do anything in SS2, beyond the one time i played the demo version on "impossible" and there was this one time a shotgun hybrid spawned in med-sci 1. i recall spending like an hour seeing if i could possibly spec the demo character (Navy) to the point where i could repair the dropped shotgun, and i think there literally were not enough cyber modules in the demo to get the necessary repair and standard weapons skills to use it.
not to mention that i could never find another shotgun hybrid again on that level.
