I think everyone unimpressed with the Apple Vision Pro but talking about it like "if this catches on", like there's any ambiguity, needs to have a bit more faith in themselves. Nobody wants to look the fool when in a year everyone's wearing these things all the time, sure. But come on. It's not going to happen. The thing is useless, you look like a twat in it, it costs Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars, Apple owns it, it's fucking doomed. 3D TV never stood a chance and that was a more meaningful experience. VR's basically dead, AR's of fundamentally less value than that. Must we pretend this is even gonna flail around for another two years before getting canned? C'mon now
that the internet is suddenly being flooded with videos of influencers and people using it in their cybertruck1 or on the subway2 is a big warning sign that this was always going to be DOA3
