Hulu is now on Disney+, which because corporations are full of bullshit licensing agreements and software engineers don't give a shit about end users, means you get wacky situations like this.
If you search on Disney+ for "The Simpsons" you'll get The Simpsons TV show, the Simpsons movie, and a bunch of one-off Simpsons shorts made for Disney+.
However, you'll also get another, second The Simpsons. Why?
Because one is the seasons 1-34 of The Simpsons, the syndicated episodes that are not currently in active release. And then the other is season 35 of The Simpsons, the most recent season that is available on Hulu because of a licensing deal with Fox that is now distributed to Disney Plus. And even though Disney owns all three of these things, it needs be kept separate because "Hulu on Disney+" is not the same thing as "The Simpsons on Disney+."
