I have two profiles in OBS: One labeled "Lizstar", and one labeled "Lizstar - No Lag". I cannot tell a single difference between them, except that one of them causes me to drop like 90% of my frames, and the other does not.
As someone who is not a programmer, I feel like this is what coding is like.
Every time I stream a game running on my computer, sometime between 9:00 and 9:30, the sound will get really crunchy for about only 30 seconds. It's never exactly the same time but always in that range. I have absolutely no idea why it happens.
maybe the no lag profile is using the advanced setting "dynamic change bitrate to manga congestion". This feature fluctuates your bitrate to prevent dropped frames. It's pretty great!
