J'oopi Shé was a Force-sensitive Kadas'sa'Nikto from the planet Kintan who became a Jedi Master in the Technical division of the Jedi Order, the guardians of the Galactic Republic.
The Technical division was a division within the Jedi Order that was responsible for maintaining and repairing all craft of the Order. Jedi Master J'oopi Shé was part of the organization during the Clone Wars.
so they needed a force sensitive maintenance tech?
