The big news has arrived: Kitsune Tail's Steam Next Fest demo is live now! Go get it and experience the first part of the queer furry love triangle wrapped in an SMB3 jacket

You should definitely check the options. There's a CRT shader in Kitsune Tails made by @JoshJers which isn't on by default (because people get upset by that kinda thing) but playing with it on is totally the recommended experience

And for those of you who have Steam Decks, we've verified it works on that, too! And there's a new reveal trailer, showing off some of the bosses:

I played through the demo! It's fun and I'm looking forward to more! there were a few things that I wanted to mention as feedback, though, if you're looking for any.

so I'll just make these brief

  • in the first level, I was surprised that there was no floor beneath the water. I figured it was there to let people sink down and then play around with swimming back up.

  • furthermore, I kept mistaking some of the backgrounds for swimmable water.

  • the invincibility dash is cool!! I kept wanting to use Special to swing my tail after it ran out since I wanted to keep pressing the button.

  • I also kept looking around for hidden blocks (especially in the ghost house), so I think that means the level structures feel very natural to me.
