I never even watched Stargate SG-1 (should I?) but I love that there's a new video game today for a show that ended over a decade ago. I need this to be a trend so I can get a good Farscape game

I loved Stargate SG-1 (and Atlantis) when I was growing up but I never know whether or not to recommend either because certain aspects haven't aged well (or really weren't exactly great on arrival to begin with), but they were also a ton of fun so it probably depends on your tolerance levels for things like the ancient aliens trope and the heroes being primarily American military. And probably other problematic aspects I don't remember because it's been ages.
Genuinely excited to see a new Stargate game, though. I still have a soft spot for this universe and hope it's good and does well.
