I think it's neat how animals can vary by location. I live about two hours north of where I grew up and there's entirely different snails.
We've got these suckers with conical shells here. This is my first time seeing a live one.
I grew up with snails an eighth of their size with white helix shells. Never saw one of those alive either, but their shells showed up in far greater numbers.
