you would think that as a person who is forced to think about and draw cartoons all day, maybe i'd get tired of them... yet here i am standing ass naked before god and everyone, posting about drawings that move on a friday night
here's one that i was reminded of tonight because there was a user named "periwinkle" being referenced in a mario speedrun i was watching.
these shorts are SO GOOD at traditional slapstick comedy. i know i'm a nerd and most people are too cool for slapstick, but i feel like it's visual comedy in its purest form. simple premises that can be understood and enjoyed entirely without dialogue. i can only DREAM of making work that powerful
