Hey there! I'm Unambiguous Robin, a 30+-year-old plural queer furry transbian who is in love with love, creativity, and cute furry girls. On this blog, most of the thoughts on love and creativity come from me, most of the cute furry girls come from others (via rechosts) (but I have some cute furry girls of my own) (and I'm married to one).
This pinned post is meant to double as an introduction to the kinds of things I talk about, and as a reference list for some of my higher-effort posts. If you're interested in either of those things, just click "read more".
Incidentally, I don't mark my posts as 18+ unless I feel it's necessary, but I'm usually pretty frank about adult topics on here, so fair warning.
Creativity
I think self-expression is important to a lot of things, and I've written several essays on why, and in what areas of life. The basic takeaway is that, whatever's unique about you, I encourage you to show it to others! For more details, consider these posts:
- On art and creativity
- On negativity and positivity in art
- Providing answers through art
- Music in another form
- On science and non-science (not a post on creativity per se, but is supplemental in explaining creativity's importance to me)
- What can be learned from speculative fiction (part of Sapphic Book Bingo 2023)
- raw art vs. processed art
- On the nature of identity
- getting people to play niche games? (a response post, goes into the merits of popular vs. niche titles)
- thinking a lot about learning art and how it intersects with disability/neurodivergence (a response post)
- Conceiving a story
Love and Romance
The previous section could be seen as making the point that I like it when people express their passions in general. As an extension of that point, I love it when people express their passions towards each other. As a result, I've given a lot of thought to romantic love and relationships more generally. Some examples include:
- Thoughts on the romance genre, part 1/? (about navigating cishet perceptions of romance)
- Thoughts on the romance genre, part 2 (about how to explore positive romance)
- Love from the viewpoint of loneliness
- How I met Princess Flufflebutt (and a long tangent on confidence vs. vulnerability in romance)
- Let's talk about sex baybee (18+!!)
- Thoughts on the romance genre, part 3 (about characters with opposite personality traits)
- Robin Reviews Romance #1: BBGUN
- Thoughts on the romance genre, part 4 (about the narrative flow of building a relationship, and how the flavor of romance is unique to each author)
- Sapphic Book Bingo 2023 (many book reviews/assessments listed in this post, including the following semi-general analyses:)
- "Earning" Love
Queerness
I realized I was trans only after decades of denial, and so I'm still exploring the full world of queer media and personal feelings. A lot of these things can still be categorized into the above two categories, but some of my posts are more about queerness than others:
- My position in the LGBTQ multiverse
- On the nature(?) of gender
- The new Q, Q+ (a response post)
- Internal perception and the nature of headspace (a response post) (this is about being plural but I'm still considering that to be a queer topic)
- nietzchse (a response post) (about gender dysphoria vs. euphoria)
- Fluffy queer media (a response post)
- Other recommended media about transitioning (a response post)
- Lost inside the castle
- More Equal Than Others (a response post)
- Floral portrait of Aurora
- Something I've Noticed About My Furry Friends (a response post)
- Mental illness and identity (also deals with topics other than being queer)
Fursonas

I have six fursonas that I designed to represent different parts of my own personality. Their lore isn't especially well-established, but I like to imagine them all living together with each other. For my bigger posts, I like to draw one or more of them doing something topical to the post, matching my own emotions at the time of writing. Sometimes I'll draw comics with them as the central characters. If you want to learn more about them, I have more detailed information written for each member below:
Edit: Also I've been commissioning art pieces of my fursonas, so I'll include links to those pieces in this section as well.
- Bio: Pearl, the optimistic and emotional robin
- Bio: Aurora, the anxious and introspective wolf
- Bio: Carl, the chaotic and energetic otter
- Carl dancing to music by @TuxedoDragon
- Carl standing there looking tough by an anonymous friend
- Carl showing off some worldly fashion by @bagelcollie
- Bio: Xena, the sexy and sentimental dragon
- Bio: Grace, the gentle and hospitable pangolin
- Bio: Gertrude, the stubborn and cynical mule
Music
It's not something I write about a lot, but I do enjoy making music playlists. Most of my suggestions come from music that I first heard through use of a program I designed to define music genres.
- UR🐦 Variety Playlist #1
- My top 20 favorite songs from Umineko No Naku Koro Ni
- My top 30 favorite Patricia Taxxon tracks
Food
I've made some posts about cooking and ramen for some reason.
- I love ramen!!
- Buldak!! aka fire noodle
- Cooking Advice from a Cooking Novice (the advice is "simplify")
- Spicy red lentil soup "recipe"
Messy Personal Posts
I don't know that I'd exactly recommend reading these posts, since they're just posts I use to vent my emotions for largely therapeutic purposes. Still, they're representative of some of the things I occasionally post here, and they're part of a conscious effort on my part to normalize the expression of all emotions, good and bad, concrete and vague. So if you wish to review them, be my guest (but be warned that some of the topics can be heavy):
- Let's talk
- On the VN Flowers, and my self-image
- Art as therapy
- Video games and moving forward
- (one of my favorite drawings I've done)
- (untitled post on anxieties in posting)
- Kind-of end-of-month summary
- A creator's block
- Meandering thoughts on meandering writing
- (untitled low-effort post about low-effort content)
- Motivation to partake in Sapphic Book Bingo
- on reasons to live (a response post)
- Untitled ENF songbird game idea (18+!!)
- untitled post about why I don't post as often as I used to
