Edit on Apr 4: I was participating in this challenge for a while, before deciding that other reading pursuits took higher priority for me. I am leaving the rest of this post intact because I don't feel like editing the whole thing just to put it in a new context, but to make it clear, I am not reading any additional books for this specific challenge.
I am participating in the Sapphic Book Bingo 2023 reading challenge. This pinned post will be updated continually as a summary of all my progress so far.
How I'm doing this
My only goal right now is to complete the regular 25-book bingo card. I initially considered doing the 12-book Unicorn Bingo card as well, but have since decided that that's just too much for me to handle in one year.
I am not setting in stone which books I'm reading for which categories ahead of time. I'm keeping the categories in mind when searching for new books to read, but I won't finalize the squares until after I know what books can be used for each square. I will, however, keep track of how many of my completed books qualify for each square in this post.
I will dedicate at least two separate posts to each individual book I read, which will be linked here after I complete each book. One post will contain a spoiler-free review purely for those who are considering reading the book themselves. The other post will be an in-depth analysis written for me, to help me sort out my own thoughts about creativity and how to make my own stories.
