I reviewed Final Fantasy Rebirth!
It was really good! It was also really big and long, so much so I literally did not do anything else game-wise this month, so a bunch of my gacha games activated their "returning player" bonuses when I came back.
Anyway, though it's big and huge and in some ways very contemporary in a "Ubisoft open world" sort of way (this is a good and bad thing), it's also deeply silly and fun and sincere and appears to come from a place of love (in as far as you can say a work that probably cost hundreds of millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of person-hours to make and sell can do so, i guess) and I liked it a lot.
