Machine learning isn't just hacks typing "big booba anime trending on artstation". It's also people training their own ML systems with their own datasets, including artists. It's people using the current publicly available neural networks—as full of copyright infringement as they are—to create novel, weird, interesting media, where often the ML image is just the first step in a longer process. It's a lot of different things. I don't want people to stop being angry or whatever, but focused, well-directed anger will lead to less frustration.
