Ok, I'm gonna talk about an h-game I played because it's too interesting to just let be. Who even knows, maybe I'll make it a more regular thing.
That said, I do plan to cover all this stuff in a work-safe way. I won't show any horny CG if I can help it, and if I must include that stuff, I'll tag and CW appropriately.

Now, to the game.
What is it?

It's The Scarlet Demonslayer (Akagami no Kishin), developed by Nuko Majin and localized by Kagura Games. Mind, I'm no eroge expert, but of the ones I've played, it's one of the most unique, thanks to its clever subversion of a particular set of hentai tropes.
The trope in this case is the classic "fallen hero" scenario. The setup involves a powerful, dignified lady* who's corrupted and laid low through the power of sex crimes committed upon her person.
This setup's so well-trod, its conventions so familiar, that the unofficial name for this sub-subgenre on Pixiv is "Kukkoro" taken from "くっ、殺せ!" ("K-kill me!"), uttered by heroines when captured by enemy forces, because...well.
In other words, it's the misogynistic dark side of "You are not immune to hot lady knight."
The Scarlet Demonslayer appears at first to be entirely inhabiting this Kukkoro mode. The story stars Agnis the Annihilator, a super-powerful knight dressed in divine armor that defends her peaceful nation from regular demonic incursions.

Jerk Prime Minister Hagues wants to get in Agnis' pants, and through unknown means, captures her vast magical power and holds it hostage. With Agnis sapped of the means to summon her sacred armor, he delivers an ultimatum: Be mine, or be unable to do your duty as an Annihilator.
You can already see where this is going. Until...

Note: This is the only time in the entire game Agnis' expression changes from her otherwise permanent deadpan. It's absolutely worth it.
In a single scene Nuko Majin declares to players that this isn't going to go the way the way they assume. Rather than have her dignity dragged off to the Hagues (heh), Agnis would deliberately pierce her own hymen, then fling the blood in his face as she walks out.
I'll now direct folks to the product page of The Scarlet Demonslayer on DLSite. Because H-games on Steam generally hide behind an optional R-18 unlock patch, they're generally more circumspect about the nature of the content. DLSite, long known for hosting all manner of spicy content, is a bit more honest.
The page for The Scarlet Demonslayer has this rather incredible statement of intent right in the gallery:

It lays out nothing less than an alternative reading of "Kukkoro". Rather than being short for "くっ、殺せ!" ("K-kill me!"), Nuko Majin's "Kukkoro" is short for 「屈さず殺す」("To slay and never yield"). The rest of the message is equally telling:
Never to pant, never to cry, never to fall, and never to lose.
Try as you might, there are no Bad Endings to get in this work. Please be warned.
And there it is. Rather than indulging the fantasy of watching a strong woman break and fall and lose to the weight of cruelty and sex crimes, The Scarlet Demonslayer flips the script. Instead the strong woman is not only unbowed, but stronger than ever before.
"Hey," you might say, "stories like this exist, where the broken lady knight reemerges like a slutty phoenix and takes her place as the bimbo supreme."
Sure, having the lady win in the end isn't unheard of. Seeing the strong woman enact a bloody revenge is part of the charm in some cases. But The Scarlet Demonslayer still hits different, thanks to its blending of three things: The desire to make a "no bad endings" Kukkoro scenario, the incorporation of a transformation/corruption arc, and its devotion to the deadpan/emotionless fetish.

Let's unpack those last couple of factors. As I mentioned, Agnis almost never changes her expression in-game. Even when doing the lewdest kind of debauchery, she maintains that same aloof, untouchable look. Think Nightingale from FGO and you're pretty much there. Nuko Majin's devotion to maintaining that essential dignity seeps into every characterization of Agnis.
Here's a look at her in-game stats page.

The game doesn't really have combat, which means the stats page is here to say that you can't beat or break someone this strong. Nuko Majin's solution to stories where a strong woman is exploited, beaten, and rendered weak is a story where the woman is categorically impossible to coerce. You could no more force Agnis the Annihilator into sex than you could rape the sun.
The flipside of having a woman that's impossible to coerce starring in a porn game is that nothing in said porn game happens without her tacit consent. This is where the porn game part of The Scarlet Demonslayer comes in. Like many a Kukkoro story, Agnis has a sleazebag subordinate, a lecherous rogue named Gold. Gold comes up with a plan to gradually refill Agnis' now-empty magic gauge while her nice-guy lackey researches how to free her captured mojo from the minister's clutches.
His solution?
A fancy ring that:
- converts the ambient lust of dudes around Agnis into a stream of magic to fill her empty MP gauge
- allows her to hear the lustful thoughts of those around her
- over time, turns her into a succubus capable of absorbing magic through sex
Thus the plan is simple. Get dudes super horny by various means (mostly doing sex to them), refill your magic bar, and kick ass. It's a common enough scenario, but Nuko Majin's devotion to keeping Agnis in that untouchable, deadpan mode reframes every otherwise typical encounter in an interesting way.

Because Agnis is basically immune to harm, a ring that would drive any normal person immediately insane with succubus sex power feels just fine on her. Even the sex scenes are written like Agnis is an outside observer to her own erotic encounters. She regards the changes to her own sensibilities and the signs of her conversion into an actual succubus with an almost scientific remove, an a "Ah, I see that [lewd thing] is happening."
Nothing, not even a ring that threatens to change her very nature, will deny her essential dignity.
Side characters also get similar treatment. Her lackey Gold is a tier one operator version of porn-game scumbag guy, and he's been trying to get in Agnis' pants forever, readily taking advantage now that her boss needs him to do the deed. And yet, even he respects her and her strength. He shows genuine concern when it comes out that the ring does more than he thought initially.
He even suggests they abandon the plan, worried that the mechanism might not be reversible, even when calling it off would deny him the opportunity to sex his boss. Keep in mind this is a game where you can toggle a setting to show Gold with shadowed features like your generic self-insert porn game protagonist. And yet, in a world where porno dudes have no face, this guy still has a heart.
In the end, The Scarlet Demonslayer is still a porn game. Its characterizations are meant to titillate rather than serve some noble goal, but Nuko Majin's desire to indulge this peculiar combination of impulses has resulted in something unique in a genre that revels in breaking its heroines: A game where a heroine's agency is not only undenied but undeniable.

You may not be immune to hot lady knight, but this one sure is immune to you.
