Give me more city builders that aren’t just “build old European city” or “build modern day American city”. Give me city builders that are fantasy ones with wild crystal tech! Give me city builders that are set in steampunk worlds, let me build a cyberpunk dystopian hellscape or a solar punk money free utopia! Give me city builders where a dozen colorful species or a thousand variations on anthro exist. Let me be a dragon tending to her horde of towns I manage and help flourish, let me have a city so furry I have to manage cleaning hair out of the street sweepers, let me build a city that exists in multiple fantasy worlds at the same time.

For the love of fuck give me some way to engage with fantasy besides “violence” or “farmer”.

Not strictly furry but in the theme of weird/unusual city builders I'll add Laysara: Summit Kingdom and Airborne Kingdom to the list of unusual city building games with interesting or novel motifs.

I haven't played Laysara myself, but I reviewed Airborne Kingdom and it was nice.
