On the subject of Types of Post.

In the mire of the "Sports" Subreddit you will occasionally see someone dare to post a sport highlight that is neither American, nor Soccer. There is a particular brand of commenter who always replies "I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THIS!", even though the video will be something like a cricket highlight where "a batter hits the ball in the air, and the ball is caught, and therefore the batter is out" just like in baseball.

It's important to understand these people aren't viewing the video, and being shocked that they can't understand what's going on.

Rather, it is a mantra they repeat to themselves for the purity of their souls. "Not understanding cricket" is a core part of their identity. And they can feel the tendrils of comprehension entering their mind, and the carrying the corruption that comes with it.

If they allow this cursed knowledge in. Soon they will be understanding that "in Australian Rules Football, the team with the highest score wins" or have awareness that "in Rugby you have to put the ball on the ground in the end zone to score."
