Another quietish week focusing on work and private projects. MC Eternal and Bombe still ticking along.
In Stars and Time moves into it's third week. It turns out that the people who described it as a "full length RPG" weren't lying. The game is still compelling, though I do find myself starting to tire of it sooner than in my previous sessions, and the runs need to be more 'targeted' with a specific intent (Though a recent development in the game should hopefully reduce the amount of rote retreading). But the story is still strong enough to keep me going, and the myriad story threads are starting to come together in an interesting manner.
I played a bit more Kingsvein. I'm still enjoying it, mostly for it's interesting and varied combat. But I don't know if I'll have enough momentum to keep at it, given the apparent size of the game. But I'll probably still keep at it.
I played through The Exit 8 on a video chat with friends. It's a simple first person walking game where you walk through a seemingly endless (in the style of PT) Japanese subway station trying to reach "Exit 8". Eventually a warning sign tells you to turn around if you see an 'anomaly', otherwise to continue forward. Very simple, very fun, excellent game.
Also, I started The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood just to try something different. It's a narrative driven game about a banished witch, 200 years into a 1000 year long sentence of isolation on an small asteroid. As a result she does the obvious thing and contracts with a giant, and apparently evil behemoth. I haven't played much of it so far, so can't comment much on the mechanics or gameplay. But I do find the setting and concept intriguing and will definitely keep playing it.
I played Infinite Craft too. It's an embedded HTML game. It's slight, but fun.
