That is a damn good post though! Reassuring in a way, and I've been feeling that ever since I started using Cohost
i think it's a mistake to treat those two things as mutually exclusive
it's not a binary one-or-the-other, where you either get 10k strangers to see your post OR 500 ride or die fans
you get 10k strangers to see your post, AND hope to turn as many of those strangers as possible into diehard fans who love your stuff
those hardcore superfans don't come from nowhere. every single one of them starts as a random internet stranger who's never heard of you
getting a lot of people to see your stuff is the first step to finding potential superfans and turning them into actual superfans
