edit: this brand of Red Cup does have some pretty bad longevity reviews on the linked webstaurantstore, it's giving me pause. 🤔

update: the Cambro Colorware tumbler reviews on Amazon are very positive, so i think the webstaurantstore store ones are different and possibly sucky!

webstaurant's shipping prices are really really ridiculous unless you have the $99 a month subscription. really great site if you use it regularly, but, sheesh. i once tried to buy a $7 bowl on there, $33 shipping lol
i think there's actually a couple of brands of this red cup, and if u get them from a proper restaurant supply, you get The Good Stuff. i have children/clumsy guests who frequently drop these and step on these and otherwise are Very harsh on them and they are thus far completely undamaged after a year. the real ones are indestructible
I did not love those; they were always covered in grease, no matter how much they washed them
Oh I have one of the red ones, a friend of a friend stole a ton of them from the Pizza Hut he worked at and they've just sort of made their way into the possession of every member of that extended friend group. I don't drink soda often but if I do I drink it out of that cup and it tastes like it does at a birthday party when you're ten years old.

nah the person I know is 1. my boyfriend, lol, and 2. works in IT, not as a dev. but there's a good chance he knows the person you know! or at least knows someone who knows the person you know.
