(note that i shouldve added earlier: dont takae this post all too seriously LOL !! just a Silly Dumb Rant that i didnt put all too much thjought into because iwas Hungry.)
smash ultimate sucks so got damn much. there is No reason to go back to playing it.
competitvely ? it sucks Ass. has so little depth to it. the game prides itself on having a billion characters , but then all those characters feel so. Bland to play. the game isnt as Slow or Miserable as compettive brawl or smash 4 , nor does it have any One Singular broken mechanic like those games. but it doesnt have the Depth that games like melee or 64 have. watching ultimate is boring , and Playing ultimate is boring. Especially online !!! every encounter with someone online has sucked due to both Lag , every character in the game having an Instant Combo move (because it feels like nintendo saw ppl complaining about the game not having combos , so they just decided to give Every Character a built in combo that u cant really do anything to escape). and then all ur oppoentents are playing a dlc character like kazuya who spam like. 2 moves (sometimes for no fuckin reason !! youll be half across da stage and theyll throw in a move ... Wat R U Doin !!)
casually ? this game is The Worst of em all. there is No Single Player Content worth playin !! world of light Wishes it could be subspace emmisary !! it Sucks So Fuckin Much ,its Boring and so fuckin long and all youre doing is random matches with spirits that Vaguely reference the thing theyre representing. its not worth the like. 5 cutscenes u get , compared to Brawl which has Entire Levels and An Actual Story. other than that , while things like Classic mode are Better ... u dont really get a whole lot of Good single player content ... theres no break the targets or any interesting modes beyond the like. 3 modes that are in Every smash game (and those modes werent even in the base game at launch , like home run contest. LOL)
and ill just say it : smash is just a shitty ass party game !! i have played smash ultimate at multiple parties , and it just Sucks as a party game !! it aint no mario party and can never Be mario party !! every single time ive played it at a party, all the Actual Casual players would just . give up after 2 matches , and then it just leaves the like. 2 or 3 tryhards just playing each other while everyone else is doing Something Else . Idk. Smash Sucks Ass !!!!
it really is telling how they killed off having an Actual Story like in subspace emmisary , with Actual Cutscenes , and instead decided to go for having Marketable Trailers with High Budget Animation instead . i mean .Yeah. the trailers are Cool . but thats pretty much ultimate's only identity at this point . the game itself only really has A Ton Of Characters so that they could have Trailers that make white boy youtubers Cum Their Pants over Scrimblo Blimbo being in the game. the game really has nothing else going for it !! it dont got an interesting competiive scene like with melee , or the crazy casual content that brawl and smash 4 has !!! its the most corporate game to me !!!!
anyways. im glad steve exists. out of Any game in the series , this game Deserved a character like steve. the funny thing is , he isnt even That Broken compared to meta knight from brawl or bayonetta from smash 4 . . . he just requires u to Take Ur Time fighting him and Actually Thinking . and actually getting Good at steve also requires Practice and Having A Brain . the fact that people are going Insane over training mode clips posted on twitter of someone pulling off frame perfect tricks that Noone has yet to practically use in any sort of competitive environment .... its both sad and funny. also . steve is the only interesting character in the entire game LOL !!! hes the only one who can actually do Silly things !!!! the haters are stupid as hell !!!! at this point , i only play smash ultimate to go online and spam minecart off stage and troll bitches ... i dont even care about winning .. i dont even Build !!! i just want smash ultimate players to have a worse time !!!
