If you're in the UK and you've had anything to do with a Gender Identity Clinic (either as a former patient, a current patient, or on the waiting list), you might consider calling or emailing the clinic(s) to tell them you don't give any consent for your data to be released. This is being suggested in case the UK government tries to weaponise your data against you as an outcome of the Cass Report.

I've copied the info from this twitter thread:
https://twitter.com/trans_safety/status/1779896232829215023

The affected clinics are:

  • The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, Gender Identity Clinic, London (formerly Charing Cross)
  • Leeds Gender Identity Clinic, Leeds
  • Northampton Gender Identity Clinic, Daventry
  • Northern Region Gender Dysphoria Service, Newcastle
  • The Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health
  • Porterbrook Clinic Gender Identity Service, Sheffield
  • The Laurels Gender Identity Clinic, Exeter

(personal notes under the read more)
