It's funny to watch Gary Oldman just completely act circles around Keanu, but Jonathan "Hmm, those villagers told me not to enter the castle under any circumstances, and there's a giant swarm of bats in the sky forming an upside-down cross... Now they're spelling out 'Jonathan Harker, You Will Die Here'... Well, that's Eastern Europe for you, I guess!" Harker being woodenly acted does kind of work.
I love how hard they stepped on the Gothic and Sexy pedals for this movie. It feels like it rushes through the plot, but they still put in an original scene where Mina goes out with Dracula to drink absinthe.
Wonderful movie. 5/5. This is what vampire movies should be like.
