Are you the kind of trans girl who says Sean Bean's name like "Seen Bean", or the kind who says it like "Shawn Bawn"?

definitely "Shawn" ever since I learned that's how you're supposed to pronounce it. I think that's one reason why a lot of ESL people just do not like English because magical unseen pronunciations are all over lol
Just in case you didn't know, it's supposed to be like "Shawn Bean", with two different vowel sounds. Both of the ways I'm suggesting in the post use the same vowel sound for his first and last name, which you'd think would be right since they're spelled the same, but is instead wrong on purpose to be funny. English!
oh my god I somehow completely missed or misread "Bawn" and and didn't get the joke, my bad! English is a funny language.
Well in this specific case, it's because it's not an english language name :p
Ah very true. I think Sean isn't an uncommon name in english though, so it's one of those we all have to learn eventually.
I used to think Sean was pronounced Seen, but I'm not trans so idk which kind I am.
