I've had my astronomy stuff packed away for the better part of a decade, but seeing some of the Content on here made me want to revisit some photos.
I love wide field imaging, which is good because I absolutely do not have the equipment to do anything else. I have a basic SLR with an inexpensive 50mm lens piggybacked on a teeny refractor on a wobbly undersized equatorial mount with a clock drive from the 90's to allow for longer exposures with less smearing. Aside from the chromatic aberration, I'm pretty happy!
I was able to get some good dark nebulae (which you KNOW my eldritch ass loves), particularly in Scorpius. Plenty of bonus globular clusters, reflection nebulae, etc. Extra bonus Andromeda with a barely visible satellite galaxy (M32 I think) I tried for on a lark with a 200mm lens.
