Almost time for me to rewatch this, I think. It's got Lance Henriksen!
If you haven't seen this film you will not be able to predict a single thing that happens in it
I rewatched it. There's so much to look at in this movie. Every costume and piece of technology is extremely designed. You've never seen color grading this intense. Lance Henriksen talks like he's just saying nonsense words, which he is about half the time. There's a line about setting a ship's combat information center to autistic mode. It's so cyber and the soundtrack is so full of women vocalizing that you'll be like "What is this, a Mamoru Oshii movie?", and it is. Great stuff.
I just keep thinking about Autistic Mode. What a line. The movie does not say or show what setting the CIC to autistic mode means, of course.
