It's kind of fascinating to me how everyone loves celebrated video game Hades, while to me it's basically unplayable because Zagreus is perhaps my most hated fictional character of all time, because this thing where he picks something up and says what it is is extremely annoying to me but other people apparently don't even notice, let alone mind. How do you stay calm when this fucking piece of shit fucker is like picking up gold and saying "Gold... I can use this to buy things."? I want to set him on fire. I spent some time trying to mod all his lines out of the game so I could stand playing it, but eventually decided to just play other games instead. Anyway, it's interesting that people notice and filter out different things.
