Speaking of kaomoji, since it's very often useful to me and there are probably still people who don't know about it, win+.¹ pops up a little emoji picker with a pretty good search function, and it also has² kaomoji and arrows and Greek letters and stuff. Seems to work in at least any relatively normal text input. 🧛‍♀️

1. That is, hold the Windows key and press the .³ key

3. Though I think it might be , instead in some locales or something?
