I just did over 1,000 damage in one hit for the first time with the long sword's Serene Pose, and I think it's definitely my favorite weapon type. The counterattacks are very satisfying.
I've been trying out playing completely solo, without any Buddies, and unfortunately I think I prefer it, even if it makes everything take longer. The sicko life chose me...
I haven't really learned how to use dual blades yet, but I guess I'll have to.
