Tacos are a pretty big thing in Norway. Fredagstaco (Friday taco) is an extremely common dinner. It's almost like an event. Though I say any day can be taco day if you want it to be.
Though I just saw an article saying that the Norwegian Language Council (Det Norske Språkrådet) is suggesting we start spelling it tako to align with Norwegian standards, and you know what? I'm okay with it.
We've been spelling it taco for many decades now, but change has to start somewhere.
Is it going to be confusing? Yes. Especially to my weeb friends and/or Ina fans.
Has that stopped me before? No.
