I know I keep talking about Metroid Dread, because I keep playing it, and one of the reasons I love the final boss is because it feels like you're fighting someone at your own level.
Not just some big monster, or tricky fiend, but someone with the same/similar abilities, and powers as you, perhaps even a bit higher. And with more experience.
So you really need to know, and understand yourself as much as them to have a clean fight.
When the fight goes well it's almost like a dance.
