Homeworld 3 is a lot of fun so far, though I do think it maybe moves a little bit too rapidly. I wish it gave me a little more time to breathe, but... I guess the latest mission has actually given me more slack to take things at my own pace.
The early missions felt like they were just jumping from event to event, and once one is triggered, there's no time to assess the situation before taking action.
Actually... I guess that's probably why there's a pause button. I forgot about that. I should be using that.
But yeah! So far I'm enjoying it a bunch.
Oh! One more thing. I'm a little disappointed that capturing enemy vessels sends them straight to recycling, rather than actually giving them to you to use. Assembling an assorted fleet of captured weirdos was part of the fun of earlier games.
I guess units feel very, very expendable in this game... maybe that was also the case in previous titles, and I just forgot.
