The main reason why I really and truly would like Capcom to revisit the first two Breath of Fire games has a lot to do with all of this, yeah. The BoF2 fan retranslation did a pretty good job of demonstrating how the second game is really interesting when the material is given the treatment it deserves.
I've played some of BOF2 in straight Japanese, and while I don't know much Japanese, I realized from that the name "Rand" is a play on "Land"
