Found a story that I thought might be a charming father-daughter tale, but the problem is that it seems like the only way the author knows to move the plot forward is to have everyone act like idiots 90% of the time.
After the fiftieth time of asking "why did they do that?" or "why didn't they do this?" I felt tired.
