one of my favorite linguistic things is when the origin of a word is actually just made up of the most basic elements
like "twilight" is such a pretty-sounding word/concept that they named a romance series after it, but the etymology is basically just "two-light" because it's the light that happens twice??
it's like if because night is dark it was named no-light... wait a minute
