THE WIDGET HAS BEEN UPDATED. THE OLD WIDGET WILL NOT WORK ANYMORE.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WIDGETS. THE NEW VERSION IS VERIFIED WITH AN SRI HASH, AND IS SOURCED FROM GITHUB INSTEAD OF MY PERSONAL SITE. This is for everyone's peace of mind, knowing that they're not going to wake up and suddenly find malicious code running on their site; if even a single line of the existing code changes, the hash will fail and the code just Won't Run.

The old files will stay on my site for a few days, but with the change in functionality, they probably won't work anymore either. Please update, if you're in the Eggring!

hi! i added your site, but i can't see the widget on it (and i did check your webring section). the webring only really works if everyone has the widget (so as not to break the ring), so i'd appreciate if you could add that =^w^=

hi! i added your site, but i can't see the widget on it (though you do have the eggbug eggring button?) the webring only really works if everyone has the widget (so as not to break the ring), so i'd appreciate if you could add that =^w^=

i only found this out today while troubleshooting someone else's implementation. apparently sites that were created this year can't fetch external resources unless they pay, which is. gross. older sites got grandfathered in tho

in reply to @ChaiaEran's post:

hmm one thing is I set a strict content security policy on my site (maybe needlessly because it's all static pages but I thought it was good practise for learning how it all worked) and it is breaking the random page link the script because it's defined as an inline event handler and nonces/hashes don’t work for those. Would it be possible to have a version of the script that adds the event handler in the script itself instead of inline?
