i've been having a great time with Rotwood and feel like noting it because i haven't been this absorbed in a non-League game in a long time, so i was surprised to see that the game doesn't seem to have overwhelmingly positive feedback. that being said, i wouldn't be able to put my finger on the exact reason i've been liking it so much, but i'm guessing it's a combination of 1) good online multiplayer, 2) unapologetically good furry designs, and 3) generally well thought-out combat and game mechanics.
there isn't anything in there i'd call notably outstanding (other than the art/animation, which i absolutely adore), but i guess i don't have the same issues as most of the reviews have, which seem to mainly be "not enough content" (it is literally in early access) and "too grindy" (it's a little grindy but i personally feel like it's about the right amount, especially if you have a good time with friends). i can see the game reaching a really good spot once it comes out of early access, and hope it pops off!
