glad i opted to see this in large format. an oppressive, beast of a film. feels all at once claustrophobic and expansive. my only major gripe is that it feels a bit overly long (and i'm a 3 hour movie defender) and the connective tissue falls apart occasionally, although this is often the case with biopics. phenomenal writing and performances all around, phenomenal score, really just an overall great, nightmarish experience.
