honestly: regardless of functionality or w/e if there's one thing I like about this place over most others it's that there's far less tolerance for doing the online equivalent of running up to a random stranger on the street just to spew some stupid bullshit in their face. on other sites, people argue and more often than not it instantly turns into the discourse du jour, no matter how inane or inconsequential. here, it's largely a social spell of getting yourself blocked with maybe a few snippy comments before then.
