Engineer 1: [Proudly] I've invented this new asbestos-beryllium composite!

Engineer 2: [Skeptically] So, what's it good for?

Engineer 1: [Evilly] Primarily, to see just how worked-up you can get the safety person...

It's a new room-temperature superconductor! But it requires people breathing really deeply around it to work.

@TalenLee

azidoazide azide is a material composed because it seemed possible and then experimented on to see its possible applications, which all concluded there was basically no useful application for this thing that explodes in response to:

  • Physical agitation
  • Changes in temperature
  • Changes in light level
  • Nearby sounds
  • Turning on observational devices
  • Being left alone

EDIT: In the comments and replies, the corrections have happened, chemistry nerds, please think before you chost
