Obviously, "there are no games to play" is a BS take, but I think it's important to mention since I don't see this brought up anywhere: Flawed, 6/10 games are still worth your time.
I only stream for fun, so I can't truly claim to understand the struggle of a full time content creator, but... lesser known/polished games can have content too, y'know? Flawed games aren't bad. They're just... flawed. I just finished Sonic Frontiers last night, and it's probably the most fun flawed game I've played in a long time and I'd recommend it over a lot of highly polished, more successful games that came out recently.
I'm not trying to tell people to lower their standards. I'm trying to tell them to keep an open mind. Flawed games, in my experience, tend to try something different than the mainstream formula and just don't quite hit the mark. Maybe I'm speaking more as a dev than a streamer here, but attempts to try something different can give me much more to think and talk about than highly polished, safe games.
Anyway. If all I've done is add more games to your already massive backlog, then mission accomplished.
