I was just reminded (though I am often reminded) that the VCL Furry Art Archive is still online and you can still browse it. The artist that originally drew the Linux Vixen has art on there from 1995

Whaaaaaat last I heard it was shutting down some years ago, that's awesome!
let's say it's been left freewheeling - it can go offline for months at a time due to some… idk database socket thing (best I can make out) but so far it's always returned. as if the world's most seldom cron job is rebooting it or something
