i've been trying to get back on provincial income support for a couple weeks to no avail; the phone lines are constantly slammed by other people who also need help from social services, and I haven't been able to get in at all. this means i have absolutely no income at all, since I was denied disability support last year. I'll be able to re-apply for that in August... if I can even talk to anybody in the first place.
For the time being, I need some help. The last time I asked, y'all came out in spades and helped me in a huge way. I was able to buy good food and gained some weight back, and i'm eternally grateful for that support getting me through the past few months. i tried to extend that money as long as I could, but it has run dry. I was hoping I'd get back on the supports I'm eligible for by now, but I underestimated how understaffed our social services are.
