I’ve found it in a collection of about a hundred minidiscs I bought from a retiree on Facebook Marketplace. It contained a lot of old school music and recording of vinyls, some pretty rare stuff actually. And a few songs I wasn’t able to identify at all, including this one. It had no title on the disc and I have no clue where to even start looking. No recognition services know what it is

sorry for the low quality. it’s about 7 minutes long so I had to compress it to a 96kbps mp3

EDIT: I uploaded a .wav version of the file if you want it in higher quality though be mindful that it’s not actually lossless, this is ripped from a minidisc and was compressed to ATRAC SP on there

Theory: When i bought my .mp3 player in the old times, it came with a sample song. that sample song had attribution, unlike this one, but im wondering if the journey this song goes on is meant to highlight the different instrument tonal ranges that the minidisk player was good at doing. (i know digital music doesnt work like that, but the consumer might not ;D)

Pretty sure this song is traditionally interrupted every 15 seconds with “Did you know there are many self-serve options available on our website?” and “We’re experiencing high call volumes”.
