I'm back on my speedrunning bullshit. This time I'm gonna do something no one has done before: make a "theoretical best time" video out of splices of my own runs! ESA doesn't have any TAS tools, so no one has actually done a theoretical lower time limit for the any% category. I've tracked my best sub-split times from practice runs for a while, but I haven't usually recorded my practice, so until now my theoretical best time (nearly a minute below my WR) was more of a suggestion of how much time we could save. But now I'm gonna actually splice together a run of all the best rooms I can manage to finally see how we could manage to get the ridiculous timesave I know is possibe.
I'm really excited about it and I can't wait to show it off and then improve it even further over time! ESA has kinda become my comfort speedrun and it's really fun to come back to it almost a year after GDQ and still find time saves.
