Vicas and I have been playing TotK slowly since the game came out and we've finally finished it, we beat the final boss. Nearly 200 hours of game time, we got all the shrines and the vast majority of sidequests and pretty much did everything we wanted to.
Absolutely loved it. I didn't really think you could make a game obsolete but, man, TotK is BotW but so much MORE. There was hardly ever a session where we didn't marvel over some new thing we found. I think discovering there was this big ass orb in the sky and figuring out a way to get there is one of the highlights I'll remember forever.
It's definitely my GotY, no contest at all for me.
