Results from my own testing:
- The tagging system appears to take precedence over the IME. This means while you can input あいうえお just fine, since those default to the kana, it makes typing in any other kana impossible. Cohost's tagging system will grab that initial consonant before you can type in whatever vowel sound was supposed to follow it. Needless to say, typing kanji directly into the tags is simply impossible.
- Though that being said, pasting fully typed Japanese phrases into the tags works just fine.
- The weirdest part of all this? The IME is still running in the background, and Cohost only accepts "," as the break for tags. You can include "、" in your tags.
