I find it really weird when other merch artists act like the manufacturers they use is some secret that needs to be guarded. Like other artists should be people’s colleagues not someone they’re actively working against. Also it just gives weird vibes because personally I would like to know that the manufacturers are using some sort of standards for treating employees well and when people seem to want to hide that it’s like. Idk that’s a little weird. Also I like supporting the people I’m working with as well by letting people know they’re cool and do good work. I guess a lot of it is like capitalism problems, I just hate it.
