Going over some more creatures in my Kickstarter for my Cryptid nesting doll enamel pins this is the second set of pins, featuring creatures from West Virginia.

The first being mothman, one of the most well-known cryptids. The mothman was originally reported about in 1966, when two couples said they saw it near an old munitions plant. Some would later claim this sighting was connected to the collapse of the nearby Silver Bridge a year later, saying the mothman was some sort of harbinger of disasters. Many other sightings have followed, with people reporting similar winged humanoids in other places. The sightings of the mothman might be due to cranes, or barn owls whose red eyeshine might match the red of mothman's eyes.

The second creature is the Flatwoods monster, who was originally reported to be seen in 1952 near the town of Flatwoods. The group who said to have seen the monster also reported seeing a UFO with it. The people said a mist surrounded the monster, which made them sick following the encounter. Nothing was found later on, and only one other sighting has been reported (though the said the monster's head shape was different).

The third creature is the devil dog, which fall under a category of creature known simply as 'white things' due to their shared feature of long white fur. They are reported as dog-like or bear-like in appearance, and are said to make strange noises. Clusters of sightings have been reported throught the 1900s, with the creatures being mostly mysterious and said to vanish without a trace after their sightings.

I have a new kickstarter campaign for another cryptid and folklore pin set. This ones are all little matryoshka/nesting dolls, and will use the same base pin design with different screen printed details. I've also included an only digital tier this time which is a set of coloring pages! (you can get that as an add-on too if you want)
