For some reason I've never been able to read webcomics, even though I get invested in the story, I just. stop. It was that way with EGS, out of placers, I tried Homestuck waaaaay back in like 2015 and just. stopped.
I can't tell if it's something about the medium or something about my attention span ever since getting a computer. I know it's definitely gone down but I still played super long rpg maker games on my old laptop
the thing that always gets me is just how awkward they are to read? Especially on phone screens. It's like trying to read a PDF book. But reading stories in Google docs has the same kinda struggles for me so maybe it's just something about "I'm on the internet, I should be on social media / messaging friends / playing games" that gets stuck in my brain
