I wonder how hard it is to re-glue plastic...

A while ago I broke my index speaker (dont try and sleep in VR if you roll around!) that got fixed up with a new head strap entirely. It was only the left side that was broken.

Now, my new head strap broke on the right where it springs back to connect to your head: so only the left half on my working strap actually holds it to my head now.

Debating if I should buy a new strap or cobble together a fix... Since I have one strap with a broken left side and one with a broken right side, in theory I have one totally broken strap and one fully working strap.

the problem is those plastic pieces are only held together with glue. So I'm not sure if I could glue it in a way that Holds, where a new strap would have factory glue.

I think I'll try to bodge something together just to try it.

(part of me wants a new strap just so it's Clean b/c I swear no amount of gentle scrubbing actually cleans those head strap backs, and I'm scared to submerge it for a better clean.)
